Traveling can be exciting, but it’s easy to overlook small items that can make a big difference in your trip. Here are some essentials that people often forget.

1) ADAPTER FOR POWER OUTLETS
Different countries use different types of power outlets, so bringing an adapter is a must. An extension cord can also be very helpful, especially when outlets are far from your bed or workspace. This small item ensures you can charge your devices conveniently without
constantly hunting for plugs.

2) SD CARD AND BATTERIES FOR YOUR CAMERA
If you’re a photography enthusiast, forgetting your SD card or extra batteries can ruin your plans. Nothing is worse than arriving at a breathtaking location only to find your camera is out of storage or power. Always carry spares and check them before heading out.
3) CASH

When traveling in Asia, especially Southeast Asia, carrying cash is essential. Many small shops, markets, and remote islands or beaches may not accept cards or mobile payments. Make sure you have enough cash, and prepare small bills for easy transactions. It saves a lot of stress and keeps you flexible.
4) MEDICINE / FIRST AID KIT
A personal medicine kit or basic first aid kit is a travel lifesaver. From headaches to minor cuts or stomach issues, having your own supplies can prevent small problems from turning into big inconveniences. In my experience, bringing a first aid kit makes trips much smoother, especially when traveling to remote areas.
